Hi - I can't activate my new phone because my old phone is broken and it won't receive verification text messages from Verizon. I cannot sign into the Verizon website, because despite knowing and entering the correct password the site insists on sending a verification code to my phone, which I can't get.
I understand that being the default method, but I have access to the email that account is tied to. Why can't a verification email be sent? It makes no sense that this is the only way, given that a huge number of people must buy new phones to replace broken or lost ones. There are no options for security questions, emails, alternate numbers etc.
