If I am in the US and dial a Verizon USA area code phone number and that person's phone is in an international country like Spain am I charged for an international call even though I am calling a USA area code.
That is a great question, doug618! If you're calling a US number, regardless of whether or not they're in the US currently, you will not see international charges. The recipient of the call, however, can see international usage charges if they take the call while out of the US. Let us know if you have any other questions!
