I am trying to configure a specific IP address for the DNS settings on my router but cannot locate the option. From my research, I’ve seen that this was possible on similar devices in the past. Here's what I’ve done so far:
- I accessed the router’s admin page using its IP address.
- Navigated to Advanced > Network Settings > Network Connections > Connection Broadband Settings.
- Under WAN IP Address, I clicked on the dropdown for Internet Protocol.
However, the dropdown doesn’t seem to allow adjustments to the DNS settings as I’ve seen in examples from other users.
I have a device that monitors internet traffic and provides ad-blocking. For it to work properly, I need all devices connected to my network to route their traffic through this device before reaching the web. On previous routers, I achieved this by configuring the DNS settings in the DHCP server settings. Am I missing something here, or does this router have a different method for adjusting DNS settings?
