I just got a 5G UW tower upgrade at my home just a couple of weeks ago. At first I was told that Home Internet was still not available for my address so I ordered a 5G UW Mobile Hotspot but then got an email saying that 5G Home internet was available the next day. So I am now waiting for the Hotspot to arrive back at Verizon so that order gets completely cancelled.
So then that next day when I cancelled the Hotspot I ordered the 5G (300Gb/sec) Home Internet instead.
I have received an ARC-XCI55AX Internet Gateway. Setup was not as clear as I would have liked but doable for me.
The only problem was "Bridging" the router. Verizon calls it "IP Passthrough" which was easy enough for me to find.
What is not clear and was difficult to find is that the LAN2 connection MUST be used once "IP Passthrough" is setup AND the Gateway is rebooted. I am using it this way with no problems now.
From what I can see, other model Verizon 5G Home Gateways work the same way.
I wanted to share this now so others can see this easier.
