I have been trying since last March (2024) to get a reconciliation and history of my Verizon Rewards Dollars since switching to Verizon in December 2020. The desktop app (via the link at the bottom "Verizion Visa Card") shows $1800 or so in lifetime earnings, but only around $250 available. NO ONE at Verizon can tell me what happened, or guide me to a way to see where the difference between $1800 and $250 went. Synchrony can't help because Verizon chose to set the account up in such a way that all Synchrony can do is to send to Verizon each month how many Verizon Rewards Dollars you earned. And Verizon lacks a way to view what you earned and what you redeemed going back more than a year or so. I am almost ready to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or my state Attorney General - or send a letter demanding binding arbitration. Has anyone else gone through this experience? Verizon Rep after Verizon Rep has tried to help, it's been escalated, etc. But a ticket is created and the tech support team just closes it without explaining why. This has happened numerous times. At a certain point, doesn't this become fraud? Word to the wise, I love the rewards categories (e.g., some of them at 4x) but DO NOT try to save up your points. Verizon will "lose" them and is then either unable or unwilling to tell you where they went. Set your rewards to go toward your monthly bill or cancel your card. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
