trouble logging in to my verizon cloud

When I try to log in to my Verizon cloud it works halfway. It lets me input my phone number and password and then asks me if I want to remember this device, and I click yes, but after that, it says version will text me instructions to log in further but I am not getting this text on my phone or my MacBook,

Are you currently a Verizon customer? If you ported your number out, then that's what the problem is because you can't login to your Verizon account anymore.
