Can I have my laptop setup for Dynamic DHCP, but have the Router always assign the same IP on my home network? I had this setup in a previous Verizon router -- each identified MAC address on my network received the same IP addresses.
The manually assigned ethernet machines are working with their assigned IPs. That's OK.
With the laptop I don't want to give it a specific IP, because when I change to a different network, I want the machine to just pick up whatever's available. But when I'm home, I want the laptop to always get the same IP.
