Global Calling Plus: International Calls from Galaxy Watch?

I want to make international calls from my Galaxy Watch on Number Share. Can I call unlimited minutes internationally from my watch if I add Global Calling Plus? The system only lets me add the Global Calling Plus feature to my phone line so I want to make sure.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought any smartwatch isn't a completely independent device - they are paired to a "main" device, usually a smartphone? In which case, that's why you can't add Global Calling Plus to the watch.
