I wanted to share my frustrating experience to warn others. If you're considering signing up for their service, be careful—what they quote you may not be what you actually pay!
Here’s what happened:
Nov 29, 2024 – I placed an online order for service and was quoted $39.99/month. Installation was scheduled for Dec 11, 2024.
Dec 9, 2024 – I contacted their online support to confirm the price since I’m on a fixed income. They confirmed in writing (I have screen shots)that my bill would be $39.99/month, and I even received an email confirmation of this price.
Dec 11, 2024 – My service was installed.
Dec 12, 2024 – I received my first bill, and to my shock, it was $89.99—more than double what I was promised!
Dec 12, 2024 – I reached out to their customer support on X (Twitter), where I was given conflicting information and no real resolution.
Dec 16, 2024 – Since I couldn’t afford the incorrect charges, I contacted online support again and requested to cancel my service. They assured me that I would not incur any additional charges.
Since then, I have received past-due payment notices via text, email, and even USPS mail, despite being promised that I wouldn’t be charged!
This is beyond frustrating. Not only was I misled about the price, but now I’m being harassed with billing notices for a service I canceled.
