I need to file a formal complaint with Verizon as the Customer Service experience I just had was absolutely unacceptable. All I needed to do was move my service to a new apartment in the same complex that I had been living in. I placed an order, then was asked for proof of residency which I was unable to provide because they gave me nowhere to submit it to. I called them the first time, I spoke with about 5 people over the course of a few hours and ended up being given a fake email to provide it to. After seeing that this clearly did not work, I called again and spoke to a few more people before being provided another wrong email to send it to. Of course, this took so long that I could not get Wifi in my home upon moving, so I once again called and spoke with a stable of people before seemingly fixing the issue, being told that my internet would be setup in 1-2 business days. Great! Of course that did not happen, so I called once more to see what is going on to find out that my account HAD TO BE CANCELLED for what reason I don't know and now I have to start all over again and wait another week to get service.
I would like to talk to someone who can fix this and provide the service that I was promised, otherwise the customer service strategy at this place needs to be overhauled as every representative that I spoke to (15+ of them) showed total incompetence as none of them could help me simply change service from one address to another.
