Two Verizon sales people came to my apartment door about 45 days ago and offered to sign me up for Verizon Forward internet service at $20/month and $0/month for the first six months.
I signed up and Verizon billed me $118 for the first month.
Then they billed me $60 for the next month.
Then, they finally accepted that I should be in the Verizon Forward program and they billed me $30 for the next month.
They are still billing me $185 for the period before they finally put me on the Verizion Forward program.
Now they want to charge me another $10 to talk to a human being in billing to try to persuade Verizion to stop billing me the money they should not be billing me.
All this is following the intitial claim by the Verizon sales force that my first six months would be free: $0/ month.
Thus far, I must have spent 30-40 hours on the phone trying to deal with Verizon.
"Thus it is proven":
Verizion is an unbelievably, appalling, ghastly, horrifyingly bad company, that engages in deceptive and misleading sales practices, and which gouges the customer out of their money; the ghastly results of which are appallingly comounded by the dreadful failure of their completely dysfuntional customer-hostile non-service.
