Customer service employees, Florante (didn’t get last name) & John B deserve an award. Florante stayed on the phone with me for nearly three hours, hopping between transfers trying to turn Verizon refill cards into a credit that could be used to decrease the phone bill, as the wrong type of gift cards were purchased by mistake. By the end of the night, after much discussion & only a partial credit, I was told to visit an in-person store the following day to officially get the full credit. When I went in, the in-person store manager said it would not be possible. I immediately called Verizon again which is when I got connected to John. He took my case seriously & jumped right into action. With just a few clicks & holds, he advised me to walk back into the store & hand the manager the refill gift cards. Upon walking out, he immediately credited the account for the full amount & made the whole transaction so seamless after a number of interactions with different employees.
Best customer service I could’ve asked for to resolve this issue…these two need a raise!
