LTE Network Extender SCTP Link failure and IPSEC down

Question

I am getting intermittent, random SCTP and IPSEC failures which causes service drops on my Verizon LTE Network Extender, This is a new unit, I have swapped out the LAN cable, rebooted multiple  times and set up NAT port forwarding for ports 4500, 50, 500, and 52428.

SCTP link failure [Cleared] SCTP HB failed over criteria

IPSec down [Cleared] This alarm is an indication of un-successful IP Sec tunnel set up with the SeGW (Security Gateway), due to failing DPD, etc.

Any ideas on how to fix other than switching to AT&T and using their network extender? Without the extender I can get one bar in one small area of my house, otherwise it is SOS.

Did this ever work properly? IPSec is turned on in your router? Could be the SeGW server you're connecting to is having an issue and when it gets resolved/rebooted, the issue will go away.  Have you tried WiFi calling?

Have you tried discussing the issue with your ISP's tech support?  Since the Verizon extenders have to use a cable internet service to connect to and you got a new extender, there could be something which needs to be tweaked with your ISP, or if your modem is old, maybe you need to swap it out for a new one?
