I received an email today saying I can have a $10 discount for 12 months on one of my lines no strings attached, of course I'm skeptical. I clicked on it and then clicked redeem, got an error so I chatted. I explained what's happening to I think it was April. She also offered me 100gb of extra hotspot on all 4 lines for a year for free. Skeptical again. I asked a lot of questions making sure it wasn't changing anything. She assured me. Fast forward 2 hours, I click on the link that takes me to the approval, it showed that the plan on my line was changing to Unlimited Plus, I told her I wouldn't approve that because I didn't want to change from my 5g Play More because I get the Hulu bundle with it. She assured me that it wouldn't be changed and that if it did she would change it back. I still was skeptical so I said lets just do the $10 discount that I originally contacted them about. Next thing I know she dumped me and I got a notification to review, my plan was changed so I lost the Hulu package and that plan is no longer offered. All 4 of my lines now have the 100 gb hotspot and I'm paying for it, my bill went up $40. I'm livid. I only hope Verizon is honest enough to change my account back to the way it was. Long story short, if it's too good to be true, it is.
