I have had the worst experience trying to upgrade the phone I ordered. What's the point of being able to quickly transfer your data if it's the least user-friendly experience possible? I can't activate the eSIM on my new phone because my account is "ineligible for transfer." I can't manually type in the IMEI to activate it because the line has already upgraded to the new phone--that I can't activate. I work strange hours so it's difficult for me to get to the Verizon store--that's why I ordered it online to set up on my own in the first place. 24/7 customer support is also completely untrue.
Plus, all of the extra security measures to protect your account make actually attempting to troubleshoot your problems the most annoying process on the planet. My calls were suspended for attempting to contact the service line outside of hours. I have verified my identity every step of the way, so I don't understand what's suspicious.
