As a background, I had both cell and home internet outage for about a week. It affected my entire neighborhood block. I opened numerous tickets and they would be automatically closed by tech support without actually doing anything to even try to fix the outage. I had to eventually ask to speak to a manager before they ensured that the issue was looked into. Turns out there was a cell tower outage which they eventually fixed. The manager felt bad at how many times I had to call in before the support team actually did anything so he said he'd give me $35 off in my next bill so that I wouldn't have to pay since the service was down. Now I get my next bill and see that my internet bill is now increased to $45 without any notification. I've been trying to use the chat/text support for the past 4 hours. I'm currently on my 5th representative. Every time they do the push notification to allow access to my account, they confirm access and that they are looking into it. Then radio silence. Then 10-20 minutes later, I get a new message where yet another new representative introduces themselves and the whole process starts all over again. Is this a known issue/flaw with the chat system? Honestly I was going to go back to my local internet company since it's $40/month and faster speed, but I was trying to give Verizon one last chance to make it right and set my plan back to $35 but I can't even chat with a rep long enough to get anywhere.
