I just upgraded my FIOS router from an older model to the G3100 due to a forced upgrade. I have many LAN devices and they all connect without issue. All TV functions work fine.
On my main wifi, all of my devices (all newer smartphones and laptops) will connect through either the 5G1 or 5G2 frequencies. The same devices will not connect on the 2.4G frequency. I've verified this by turning off the various frequencies in the admin console to force the devices to connect on a specific frequency. SON is on.
No devices will connect to the guest (2.4 only) network. I tried enabling the IoT network with the same result -- nothing would connect.
When attempting to connect to the 2.4 network, the devices can see the SSID being broadcast, but they are never able to connect. I've watched the LAN DHCP log console on the router, and nothing is shown on the failed attempts to connect.
I've tried rebooting and wiping the router and starting over to no avail. Firmware version is 3.4.0.9, hardware version is 1104.
Any ideas as to what is going on and why nothing will connect to any 2.4G network?
