International roaming

I have an iPhone 15 and I’m traveling in Australia, I have the $100 month plan for international coverage here it is showing that I have connection to cellular data. I have restarted my phone. I have reset my network settings. I have done everything they’ve told me and called multiple times and been on the phone with them multiple times and nothing will work. Anyone have any ideas? This is absolutely ridiculous. In my opinion.

You might have exhausted your high-speed data allotment - there's 20 gigs of "premium" data on the monthly international plan, and then you're throttled at 3G speeds, which are essentially unusable for any modern apps. Or, you're somewhere where Verizon doesn't have an interconnection agreement with the local carriers? A good part of Australia is showing as "no coverage" on Verizon's international coverage map, and the parts which do show as being covered are mostly 4G LTE. If your phone is set primarily to use 5G and you can select the band, try turning off 5G.

Yes and it has, I am connected to the local networks here. The data and network just won’t work.
