I’ve got rid of this service In July and switch to At&T I was told that my service would be disconnected and I would receive a return label and box to return the equipment.
it wasn’t until I got an alert on my credit report that I was sent to a collection agency for the amount of $605.20 when reaching out to Verizon to ask them what was going on they were telling me that I was being built for July , August, September and October and I also was being built for the equipment.
At that specific moment, instead of disputing the charges and trying to rectify the situation, I made a payment for the amount that they claim I owe was which was $305.20. I’ve been tried to return the equipment to a local Verizon store and was told that they could not take the equipment and that I had to contact customer service. I’ve been contacting customer service for the past several weeks and have yet to receive a return label inbox, even though I’m being told they’re going to ship the box in return label out. What I don’t understand is why is it so hard to return back your equipment it’s like you want to charge someone for the equipment And then have their credit score be affected by it. At this point, I’m going to fall a complaint with the FCC and the CFPB if I don’t get this issue resolved.
No one is trying to keep your equipment. I paid money that I do not think I owed you. And I keep being lied to By the customer service representatives that I’m going to receive a return label and it’s been weeks
