I have been with Verizon for 14 years and I have never experienced worse customer service as I did today. I was interested in upgrading so I opened a chat with a representative . After chatting back and forth I decided not to upgrade and ended the chat. Within an hour after ending the chat my account was not only unregistered from online accounting but I was also signed up for paper billing. What the heck?… since the chat representative didn’t make a sale they screwed with my account. I ended up calling Verizon and a polite representative (Shay) helped me to re- established my account and gave me additional options on upgrading. I just can’t believe that after year of good service this happened. It just makes me wonder if the representative has done this before.
