I'm dealing with some frustrating red tape. My i-phones are paid off and I've had them for two years, Verizon should be unlocking them without any issues, especially if they’re no longer under contract.
It’s possible that Verizon is delaying or making it difficult for me to switch providers, which does seem like it could be a tactic to keep me locked in, especially if they know I'm leaving. Companies sometimes do this to retain customers.
If I don't get this issue resolved ASAP I will consider filing a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
