I am a new verizon customer and I do not have my account number. when i try to set up my online account using my phone number it does not recongise it because my number has not been transfered to verizon yet.
what do i do?

You need to wait until your number has been ported to Verizon and there's confirmation saying the port is completed, before even registering for a My Verizon account, otherwise nothing works. Your account number will be visible once your Verizon service is active.
