The Serramonte Verizon store has been unhelpful unwelcoming and provides false information. When I arrived, I was not greeted but the assistant manager kept greeting walk ins. When I said I have an appointment he did not say hello or welcome but just pointed and said go sit down and wait. After 15 minutes past my appointment time a slightly helpful and courteous technician assisted me but was unable to help do a data transfer because the store was closing. He did not even bother to activate the phones or offer me that option. When I asked the assistant manager he said that appointments for phone transfers should be made earlier in the day. Another employee agreed but they were unable to point to any disclosures or explain why they allow such appointments late in the day if there is not time. I wish I had made my appointment at a different store. This store should honor appointments and treat customers better than they treated me. There was one courteous technician who was finally able to help me buy the phones but he did not even attempt to activate the phones.
I had to spend 3 hours at another store because Verizon Serramonte did not even bother to activate the new phones after my purchase.
