I bought 2 phones (financed) and a plan for both of them, I went through the credit application which was approved and all of my info was provided including ssn, I then paid the $200 that I had to pay up front which should cover first month right... Well I then completed the identity verification 6 HOURS AGO and have not got a response. I am really struggling to understand what the purpose of identity verification is when I did a credit application with verizon and all my information is correct. I paid today and have to wait until tomorrow at the soonest for a chance at getting my phones. Any other service I had to verify my identity on it is done in less than 5 minutes 100% of the time. This is not making sense how I paid and my plan starts but I can't pickup my phones and even went into the store with my ID and was told they would not be able to do anything until the verification goes through. I have the card on file, my ssn, and my ID what more do you need?? Now I'm getting hung up on when I get transferred to different departments on the phone and this is not a good first impression working with verizon. Please for the love of god override whatever this is.
