I have a small box that houses the Verizon provide ONT and it is plugged into the house AC power. I would like my internet to keep working even in the event of power outage (provided Verizon is still up). Unfortunately the box is too small to hold a UPS. I could provide Power Over Ethernet to the ONT if I found a compatible ONT.
What standards should I look for to be compatible with Verizon optical network?
What other versions of ONT are available that are compatible with Verizon?
