Verizon one UI 7

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent One UI 7 update on my Verizon-branded Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Post-update, I've observed the following issues:

1. Media Player Notifications: Disabling the media player from the Now Bar removes all media player notifications. Even when the phone is unlocked.

2. Multiple Media Apps: The notification panel no longer supports multiple media apps simultaneously.

3. After pausing, the media player disappears after 1 minutes has passed.

I've been told by non Verizon one UI users who have confirmed that issues 2 and 3 aren't an issue on their device. They can have multiple apps in the media player notification, and it stays as long as the app in open on the background.

These changes have impacted my user experience negatively. I kindly request that Verizon reviews these issues and considers aligning the firmware more closely with the standard One UI 7 features available on other carriers or unlocked devices.

Have you been receiving software updates otherwise? You mentioned you are using your phone in Nigeria currently. Are you still using Verizon service or have you activated your phone with another carrier?
