Just curious about Fios Internet questions

I've noticed quite a few questions on Fios Internet go unanswered. Is this because there's a lack of people on the forum that are familiar with the product (I'm not) or is it the question is not really network related? I can answer general questions but I'm not familiar with Verizon's ONT's and routers. Again, just curious as I hate to see questions go unanswered. Thanks

I can provide a bit of insight that may not be helpful. In case you don't know, there are two major divisions of Verizon. One of them is Verizon Wireless. FIOS is under the other division (if you want to say 'legacy' or 'old school'). FIOS is part of the Verizon division that handles the copper POTS infrastructure. The two 'divisions' or 'sides' of Verizon essentially operate as separate companies. For example, if a customer of traditional Verizon landline service has a question about their bill (often could be an older person who doesn't have a computer and prefers to conduct business in person) wants to go to a physical Verizon location to talk to someone, they will end up at a Verizon Wireless store. Obviously, an (indirect) Authorized Retailer can't assist them as they are a completely separate company (not Verizon); however, even a Corporate Verizon Wireless store has no access to copper landline or FIOS customer acct. information. (It's just like walking into an Authorized Retailer). In the situation of an elderly customer, possibly the Corporate store would let the person use a phone and call the correct Verizon division for them.

Additionally, elsewhere in this forum I saw a post with a question about FIOS and someone commented that this forum is for Verizon Wireless and directed the questioner to forums.verizon.com for FIOS questions. I have looked and that site does not exist (apparently has been discontinued).

If I can DM you, I am going to for a question that in Reddit I can not get people to understand the question. I have private chatted a couple ppl that seemed to be industry veterans and couldn't help me. I take it you are retired from a phone company and may be able to assist me. It's not complex but the question is about the units such as LVP2. You seem familiar with the Ooma ATA and I'm thinking those are a difference. The service is different so I assume the technology is different. If it is just that the Ooma type doesn't have the cellular radios is only difference, that may provide some insight to my question, but I will have to explain the specific question.
