Nintendo Switch--1 year later, still no joy

Hello all,

It has been over a year since I changed my internet service to Verizon under the Target Gift Card/Nintendo Switch promotion in 2024. I have spoken to customer service numerous times and have escalated as well. I have been told they are out, I have been told I'm not eligible, that I am eligible but they don't know why this is happening, that they will call me back with answers--but nothing. Has anyone SUCCESSFULLY gotten the Nintendo Switch deal? I am tired of speaking to customer services agents who aren't able to do anything and just put me off. All I want is what I was promised when I signed up for this promotion. I'm looking to switch to another carrier at a lower price. This is ridiculous and I've been nothing but patient about this.

In order for a promotion to be valid, all purchases and activations must occur within the promotional period. If others encounter similar problems with a missing promotion and need assistance, please contact us for support. Oh yes. There was an error with the redemption tile on my account--MANY people had this issue. I have spoken to customer service agents about this extensively. The tile has never appeared for me and I have been told that the issue has been escalated numerous times. Nothing ever gets resolved. All I want is what I signed up for. The last time I spoke to someone I was told that Verizon was out of Nintendo Switches and that's why I didn't have one, but that someone would let me know when they were available. I never heard a thing. This was near the end of last year. I just recently saw that the deal was being offered again, so I thought I'd see if anyone had received any sort of satisfaction. From what I can see, there hasn't been any.

I appreciate the reply. Every time I go through customer service I go through the same thing. Here is my situation. We signed up on the last day of the deal, which I believe was March 31. When we got home, the tower didn't work. We called customer service and discovered we had received a previously owned tower and needed to exchange for a new one. As it was after hours, I asked the customer service agent if we would still receive the deal. They said yes. We went and exchanged the tower. 60 days passed, but we received no tiles or information on how to redeem our deal. Our specific deal was when two deals overlapped--a Target Gift Card and a Nintendo Switch. We received neither. After many called to customer service and escalations, we finally did receive our Target Gift card in September. But every time I reached out about the Nintendo Switch, I got no where. I saw on the community that there were numerous other people with the same problem. The last time I called, I was told that Verizon was out of Switches but that I would be contacted when more were in stock. I never receive any information. I recently saw that a similar promotion was going on and thought maybe more might be in stock. I'm not trying to make trouble, I'm just really trying to see if I can get what I was promised. I switched my home internet because of this deal and it's been kind of a trial--lol. Just to let you know as well, all customer service agents have been very kind--it has been appreciated.
