I've tried 3 times to reach Verizon by phone . They hang up on me?

I was told at Walmart ,that it would take about 30 min to buy a new phone and connect it to Verizon service and keep my phone number.
After spending 10 hours with the tech at Walmart and still not having working phone, --- I returned the phone, got my $ back from Walmart in 2 days. Now Verizon is billing me????
I never had a working phone. I never used the phone.
An Veizon is unreachable. ..by phone anyway. And I see no other way to reach them.
Their service is terrible. And Ive seen that repeated many times in these forums.
Does anyone know anyway I can email Verizon.? Pls LMK. Thanking in advance for any help I can get on this.
