I had started my Verizon 5G Home Wifi service at the beginning of March. Luckily I was able to get two good promotions, the first one was 12 months of Netflix and HBO Max AND a $200 Amazon Gift Card. The second was that I will get a $200 Verizon Gift Card after a certain amount of time. This seemed like too good of a deal so I called the help service and I talked with someone and asked if it was real, and after exchanging emails which included a screenshot (which I attached) that shows that BOTH promotions are eligible, he told me that it all looks good and I can expect to receive both promotions. I set up the Netflix and Max subscriptions and waiting about 5 weeks before wondering where the two $200 gift cards are so I called customer service and talked with a woman who said that I can expect to receive an email where I can redeem both gift cards after 8 weeks of continued service (Sometime in the middle of May).
I called customer service at the end of May and asked when I should expect the gift cards and a new woman had to get her supervisor and after answering her questions and being on hold for about 2 hours she said that she can send me a link for the Amazon Gift Card and I was insisting that I would want the Verizon one too and I could even link her to the email I had with customer service that they said I would get both and after waiting on hold for a lot longer they hung up on me and I haven't called back yet because I've been so busy.
Here it is about halfway through June and I'm still paying for my 5G Wifi since I really do feel satisfied with it so far, and I haven't received any emails from Verizon at all. I am going to try calling customer service again and see if I can get something figured out tomorrow but I'm very upset with how this has been.
