Disconnected Account Login URL

Question

One of my posts with the "disconnected account login" URL was marked by a moderator as being the correct link, with notation from the moderator that one must use their User ID, not the phone number, in order to login.  However, the website itself asks for the 10-digit mobile number to be entered in the first box, not the User ID.  If one should not be using the phone number, shouldn't that first field be changed to say "User ID" instead?  I'm wondering if this is why threads appear regularly reporting that a disconnected account "can't be accessed", because that would be a huge source of confusion.

Hello, you can access your  final bill quickly and easily in My Verizon for up to 180 days past your disconnection. If you're past 180 days, you’ll have to use this link to view your bill online , This is the disconnection link for mobile accounts only... so you can use your mobile number

For mobile, you can use your mobile number to sign in. There is separate page to access Fios disconnected accounts where you can use your user ID.  If they are locked out of my Verizon due to them not having access to the number on file, they would need to visit our contact us page to get that contact updated.
