Activating prepaid Esim while Abroad

As the tittle may suggest, I find myself in this position as I recently purchased a Prepaid Esim and had it delivered to my email. Upon attempting to activate it I was met with an error message, subsequently I am unable to use this phone number for anything. Is there anyway I can perhaps activate this SIM over wifi ? Or must I wait until I return home and visit a store. Any clarification and Support is must appreciated.

Resolution Update: By partnering with support we confirmed that activation of Verizon devices does need to occur within the United States. Someone else posted a few months ago about not being able to activate a Verizon eSIM while outside of the US. Doesn't seem to matter if you are prepaid or postpaid. My suspicion is that the eSIM must connect to Verizon's network for things to work, and there is no Verizon network available outside of the country.

If you are an existing Verizon customer, look in the link below to see if there's a toll-free number which you can use a landline to call International Services Support from the country you're currently in:

If there isn't a toll free number, then you will have to pay for an international call and dial +1-908-559-4899.
