E3200 Extender Won’t Attempt to Pair

Does anyone know how to successfully pair the E3200 Extender? No guide nor reference material provided online or in physical copies have been any help.

Regardless of wired or wireless pairing, the extender simply will not pair, and remains in a state of the solid yellow light. Should I attempt to pair using an ethernet cable, it will show a solid white light, and then remain unpaired when it is attempted to be relocated. If I attempt to pair it wirelessly, it will wait out the full 2 minutes of blinking blue while not pairing, and return to the solid yellow light, with no red light to indicate a failed attempt at pairing.

I’m at a loss here, it’s providing minimal details and simply refusing to even attempt a pairing.

If you're using a CR1000A or CR1000B router, the extender can't connect to this model wirelessly. Only Wired via Ethernet or Coax. There is a different extender Verizon offers which can wirelessly pair with the CR1000 series routers if you need Wireless extension.

What's the model/firmware version of the gateway that you are attempting to pair the extender with? There was a performance issue that caused some gateways to not pair with Wi-Fi extenders and was fixed in a firmware update.
