I switched from AT&T may 10th to Verizon and that was such a mistake. When I was in the store, the sales rep told me about the rebate deal that I qualified for, that they pay back the amount I have left with AT&T. I was told within 6-8 weeks I would get a gift card in my email and that there was nothing I needed to do on my end, he took a bunch of pictures of my AT&T stuff as well. I waited 9-10 weeks and received nothing so I reached out to customer support and Jesse was the one and only good person I have seen in Verizon. They told me that a rep would call me shortly to figure this out. I did not get called for 2-3 days and it was on a Sunday from a Valarie while I was busy running errands. I was told I needed to send in all the AT&T information that the original sales rep already took pictures of for me to get the deal, she in no way was apologetic for the trouble I am now being put through. I was unable to do it that day and I work full time, I'm in school full time and I am a single mom so I hadn't had time to figure that out until Thursday. I received a text while I was getting the information gathered from Valarie saying my case was closed and I am a "valued customer" I have never felt less valued as a customer. After receiving that text I called customer support to try to get on with a manager, I was then on hold for the entire duration on my lunch and had to hang up, I got called back right away cause when I hung up that's when I was going to be conveniently transferred to a manager. I explained I could no longer talk as I needed to go back into work and the manager (I never got the name, female) said she could call me at a time convenient for me, I said 6 and was told I would be called at that time. I never received a call SHOCKER. So here we are Friday morning, I get into chat with a live agent because I am at work and cannot call, I waited the 5 minutes and the first person was Bethany who introduced herself, I said I would like to speak to a manager please, no response, I said "hello?" and then the chat was disconnected!!! So I waited another 5 minutes to get on chat with another representative. I was finally connected to a manager, who I explained the situation to, they have no care and just want me to resend the information. Completely ignoring everything else I am displeased with. I wish I NEVER switched to Verizon, and I promise, the second I can switch I will and I will never suggest Verizon to anyone.
