The box appears to be part of legacy infrastructure, possibly related to copper or older telephone services. It is either damaged, abandoned, or no longer in use, and may pose a safety hazard, visual obstruction, or impediment to property work.
I understand that MCI is now part of Verizon Business and that these legacy utility assets are sometimes still maintained by Verizon. I respectfully request that your team either Inspect the box for active service connections, or if deemed inactive, remove or decommission it, or provide a contact from your local construction or network team who can assist.
I can provide photos or additional location information if needed. Please advise on the next steps, and whether a technician or local network engineer can be dispatched to review the site.
