Removal of property easemnt

Hi Community,

The Telephone Company (now Verizon) placed an easement on my property back in the 50's in LA county, CA. The telephone pole was removed approximately 30 years ago and everything was buried underground. Does anyone know who I should be contacting at Verizon or to get this easement removed or how I can go about requesting a removal of an easement held by Verizon that is no longer needed? It's been very challenging trying to get this information from Verizon. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
