Rebate issues

I signed up for Home Internet in June. I was supposed to get a $200 Verizon gift card and $250 Amazon gift card.

I submitted for both cards on the rebate website. A week later, the Verizon card submission was rejected, saying it was invalid due to the mobile # having already redeemed the promo. I had only had my account two days--and thus the # only two days--so it wasn't me that had previously claimed it. Perhaps a previous customer had, and the phone# was reissued to me ??

The Amazon gift card tracking saying it will be verified by July 31 but it still says pending today, August 5.

Someone please help me with these two gift cards. I didn't know if I should put the tracking #s here.

Discounts and promotions aren't stackable. I'd have to think the 2 gift cards in question are for different promotions, so you will get one or the other but not both. As for why one of them is stuck in pending status...that's for Verizon to figure out.
