Has anyone else experienced the horror show of cancelling a perk and then having Verizon keep compel of the account and can;t seem to figure out how to resolve? I cancelled Apple One and MAX four months ago but the back end of Verizon system still maintains billing control of the account. Translation: I cannot log into my Apple account or max account and adjust, upgrade, downgrade or use. What does this mean? Verizon controls your personal accounts with 3rd parties and you are locked out of having any control.
What makes it worse? After countless calls, double tickets, endless hours on chat and three way calls with Verizon and Apple or Max and it all ends the same. Nobody know who to fix, the execrate a trouble ticket and start the process over again.
On my last four attempts, the reps disconnect the chat to avoid dealing with it or transfer the chat and call without notice and the process starts over again.
I am a long tome Verizon customer as is my family (FIOS, Wireless, and Perks) and to have this experience makes me question what the heck is going on over there.
Even when I have them on the phone, show them screenshots of the error in the account portal (and with acknowledgment of the problem) they cannot figure it out.
On top of that, Verizon never answers in the forums where customers are posting about this.
Please help if anyone out there knows how to resolve or get Verizon to respond.
