We appreciate you raising your concerns and want to get to the bottom of this. As our promotions have been for free devices, not free line access, we'll need some more details. We will be sending a Private Message so we can pull your account and investigate.

This is why it’s frustrating.
I am now on the phone with Verizon again, now they are telling me that it was a deal for free line if bring my own device and start a brand new number not a port in. This is so frustrating. Now I have heard 3 different promotions for this line. The original representative spent like 2 hours porting in this number for my dad.
I don’t know how to see messages btw.
Now they are going to manually credit me $30 every month which I would have to call in to have a representative apply to account. At this point I don’t fully believe it given the history of my interactions with Verizon but I’ll have to accept and see what they will do. They said since they missed last month, they will credit $60 next month to make up for it…

Private messages (PMs) are under the envelope icon at the top right when you're logged into the forums. If there is nothing in your PM inbox, the agent who responded earlier might not have messaged you. You can PM anyone in the forum by going to their picture in one of their posts and using the "send message" button.
Your screenshot is pending review, so I can't see it for the time being. Reportedly, the Vz agents can't see images in the forums at all for some reason. But if the fine print in the promotion said it had to be a completely new line and not a port in, then methinks you're out of luck.
Resolution Update: By partnering with support, we were able to provide clarity to your pricing concerns. To address similar questions, please note the "4 lines for the price of 3" promotion provides a discount upon adding the fourth line. Adding a fourth line provides a $10 discount on each of your existing lines of service, as well as the new fourth line. This means the cost for four lines will be the same as for three lines. However, there are no additional per-line discounts when you add a fifth line, so your bill will increase if you go from four to five lines. If you still find yourself having questions regarding our plan pricing, please refer to the resources linked below:myPlan: https://www.verizon.com/plans/unlimited/Understand and change your mobile plan FAQs: https://www.verizon.com/support/understand-and-change-your-plan-faqs/If you still require assistance, please contact us for support. -Red
