Home LTE internet and LTE network extender

I have Verizon home internet, not 5G home internet because 5G isnt available by me. I live in the country. My question is if I use the LTE extender will it also boost the signal my home internet gets? My signal is 2 bars at alltimes at my residence. I hope it does boost the signal to the Verizon home internet. the representative said it would but I am confused. If it connects to my verizon router via ethernet wont it be redundant? I also have TP link decos for dead spots in my house and garage. Any info in appreciated.

If you are using Verizon's Home Internet service and live in a rural area, then it is "fixed wireless" service and 4G LTE, if there is no 5G in your neighborhood. As far as I know, the Verizon extenders only work with some kind of wired internet connection, preferably cable internet, so it wouldn't work with your Verizon internet gateway.

Two bars on your internet gateway is "meh", but it is usable signal for the most part. I'm wondering if you're experiencing lagging with your internet. If so, that's because 4G LTE is an older technology and won't have the speed capabilities of mid- or high-band 5G. Also, because your internet gateway is running off the cell phone towers, it's having to compete with all the rest of the traffic on the towers, which can slow things down. Data speeds will fluctuate with any "fixed wireless" internet for the same reason.
