Error creating Account List (Closed Subscriber Group) for CLOSED access

I already had a lenghty chat with customer service and they were not able to help me. i am told I need to create a list with account numbers first - I do so and I am told the same error.

i have three extenders.

Hi, the closed access list thing doesn't work and hasn't worked for 2 years or more. Don't know why the reps didn't simply tell you this... Another forum member posted elsewhere that it's being worked on, but when it'll be fixed, nobody knows. In the meantime, the only thing you can do to lower the possibility of random people getting free service off your extenders is to lower the transmitting range of the extenders.

stated, the 'Managed Access' Feature has been non-functional for a while now and the only workaround is to lower the "Transmit Power" of the signal broadcasting from the extender. This change is done from the extender's local GUI admin settings:

Press the button on the left side panel near the screen until you see an IP Address displayed.
From your computer that is connected to the same home network as the extender, type the IP address into the browser's URL bar and enter.
Now you should see a login page. The pw is LTEFemto0000 (with the zeros representing the last four of the MAC Address found on the back label or the screen).
Once logged in, from the left side menu select 'Settings' and then from the drop-down menu select 'Advanced'
Uncheck the box for 'Automatic Transit Power Mode' and use the slider bar to set the desired range and select 'Save'

Note: Verizon’s IT department is aware of the modals (Access Type and Access List) & mismatch device image issue and is actively working towards a solution behind the scenes, though this may take some time as these backend fixes must be developed, tested and implemented which may go through various builds before everything is fully resolved. Frontline support is not well versed in all aspects of the extender and the issue with the MyVerizon Website so therefore regardless of the channel you go through to have a ticket raised or escalated, the results will be the same.

Thanks, I did but unfortunately, the extender signal is quite powerful and decreasing the signal strength to lowest still has too large of a radius. I submitted a complaint to the NY state attorney, suggest everyone with one of these does the same - Verizon is forcing you to pay even more money to have a public antenna for the network benefit.

Unfortunately, decreasing the transmit power of the device defeats the purpose for which I purchased it. I need the power in order to cover my house and property, but I want to guarantee that I (along with designated users) have priority access to the device.

Can anyone from Verizon step in with an update as to when or if this will ever be resolved?
