Trying to restore/download Verizon Cloud content to my PC

I am trying to download ALL verizon cloud content.. I installed the most current windows PC app, running windows 10, 64bit.. When I open the PC app, the "restore" option is greyed out.. see the attached picture. I want to download ALL content to my laptop, so I can cancel the V cloud. I have been chasing my tail for 3 days and about 7 techs... I can't restore to my phone.. not enuf storage, and it will NOT allow me to select my SD card.... if I could do that, there wouldn't be a problem... IF the PC app worked, I wouldn't have a problem....

The desktop app (without using a web browser) has two means to download Server Saved content to your desktop:

1) In the menu section 'Devices' you will see a button that allows your to download all items from a specific device that uploaded to your Cloud Repository.
2) In your computer's desktop files you will see a folder "VZCLOUD". In there are sub folders for mobile, web, etc. In these SubFolders you will see rendered thumbnails of your cloud content. COPY/PASTE a rendered thumbnail to another computer folder in the primary drive (C:/ in the case of Windows) and all copied thumbnails will download from storage to that new folder.

Usually there will be the down-facing arrow appearing only after content is selected. This applies to Web and mobile interfaces.

i have done that.... there is NO download icon... there is a + symbol, a heart, a share symbol, a padlock, and a trash can... have tried the web site log in too... i have tried 3 diff options... all 3 have NO download option... I have even turned off the VPN on my laptop, and it makes no difference

I would try emailing the Verizon Cloud Support team using the email address given under "App Support" in this URL:

[update] From what I'm seeing in your screenshot, I'm guessing the reason why the "restore" option doesn't work is because you just installed the PC app, so there is nothing associated with the PC in your Verizon Cloud account. What happens if you try using the "Set up this device later" option and try to go to your content in the cloud? I'm guessing you have to login to your cloud account if you haven't already done so. Then you'd just manually download all the items?

tried this.... doesn't work.... there is NO download option

when i select set up this device, it only gives uploading to the cloud option..
