I bought a phone from Dollar General and i cant get into it (its a Moto G 5G), i have a plan either. How do i set up my phone that i payed for
If you are wanting to use this Moto G as a WiFi device only and don't have a service plan, I'm not sure if there is any way to get past that activation screen anymore. There are old YouTube videos with workarounds, but can't say if they still work.
If you do have a service plan and the phone is refusing to activate, did you check that the phone isn't locked to some other carrier? In this situation, you need to get a refund because it is highly unlikely the phone can be unlocked.
We might be able to help if the device is unlocked since it was bought from Dollar General. Are you wanting to open a new prepaid account or are you an existing customer? -Ross
Same here how to activate phone
We can definitely check all options together if you are looking for Verizon service. A private message is being sent to assist you further.

I'm having the same issue. I recently bought a Moto G Play (2023) to use with wi-fi, it required that I inserted a Verizon Sim card. I bought the card and then it required that I activate it. I didn't know I was going to have go through all of this. I didn't expect to have to use a carrier plan just to get to the home screen. Is there anyway that customer support can help unlock the phone or bypass the activation screen without having to activate it?
If the phone is a Verizon device we will want to look into getting things connected for at least 60 days so that it can be used unlocked. We're sending a private message your way so we can see what options we have.
