Our new Verizon Tower makes it appear that we, and therefore our phones, computers, smart TV, etc., all of our devices are located in another major city, not the major city where we reside. We are in Columbus, Ohio. The 14th largest city in the nation, yet our devices keep telling everyone that we live in Summit County, the Canton area, outside of Cleveland, Ohio.
I read a few posts in the Verizon community forum. One from 2023 said it happens with GeoIP databases. Another one from 2020 talked about changing the SSID of your wireless router. Is there a fix and can someone walk me through fixing it?
