High pitched pulsing noise coming off ONT modem PSU

Hi, I'm a new Verzion Home internet user. Got modem installed in my bedroom two days ago and unfortunately its PSU produces a constant pulsing high pitched noise which I can hear at night which is really annoying.

The AI support just keeps suggesting restarting my internet modem and "unplug and plug it back" (reminds me of that British TV show "IT Crowd" ) which of course doesn't help since this is a "cheap" coil issue. Is this something all those Nokia/Verizon PSUs are producing or is this just mine ?

Sounds good. I should also mention, if the whining continues, it's possible you could try sticking a power conditioner or UPS in between the power supply and the wall outlet. It could be related to the electrical in your area being a little more noisy.

It could be a supply with some coils not well seated on the inside. You can ask Verizon to send a tech out to replace it if you want. Those supplies should be rather silent.
