Literally paying over $800 for 3 months, locked a device they don’t own, and tells me because I have a past due balance nobody will take my case for the locked device.
Had surgery back in June, so I’ve been out of work and making payments when I could. Needless to say I got behind, and with the amount of fees charged unable to keep up. I called to transfer my service to a different carrier to find out that my phone, purchased through the Apple Store by the way, was locked by Verizon and they refuse to unlock.
I also have recorded conversations of the previous 3 people giving me the incorrect information.
it is very disheartening for a company as large and successful as Verizon to have the amount of issues I’ve had in just 3 months.
I no longer recommend this carrier to anyone anymore just based on my experience over the last few months. I will be reporting to FTC for billing and device practices and attempt to launch an investigation into Verizon. I worked for other major carriers for years so completely aware this is not how this experience should go.
I know that nobody can help me but this is a sound off to hopefully incite some change because of all the carriers this is by far the worst experience.
