I am a tenant in a multi-unit building (6 apartments). I can see the fiber is hanging from the pole less than 50 feet from my building. When I called Verizon to ask how to initiate the process to get the fiber run to my building the customer service person told me that they couldn't submit a FAST ticket because one had already been submitted and that 5G was available.
The whole street has loops of fiber hanging from the poles but only one building appears to have the fiber actually running to it (out of about 10 or 12 multi-unit buildings). Is there any other way to get Verizon to run this fiber they just have hanging there?
Other information: I live on a cul-de-sac that has had construction going on for a rail line for many years but my building is accessible and the line is *right there* so it's not like they'd need to dig or anything. Every street around me has Fios available according to Verizon and the FCC broadband map.
