I am the owner of our account, but it doesn’t not show me all calls or messages on the members logs. I’m confused why I can’t see all of it. Can someone please tell me if I’m doing something wrong…
If only some calls/texts are missing from the logs, RCS or other forms of encryption for texts is considered data usage, and not texting usage. So any text which is not in SMS or MMS format will be in the data logs. As for the calls, could it be those were video calls? Video calling is also data usage. Not sure how WiFi calls get logged, or even if they get logged by Verizon, because your ISP is handling WiFi usage.
Is there a way to change it? So, that I can manage the devices better?
Not that I know of. If you want all outgoing texts to appear in the texting logs, you'd have to disable RCS and any other form of encryption in your texting app so the texts are in SMS or MMS only. I use Google Messages for my texts and RCS can be manually disabled, but don't know about other texting apps. If someone else is using encrypted texts, that can cause a problem with your devices receiving them if you've disabled the newer text format. If the devices are capable of using RCS or whatever, then those incoming texts will still go into the data logs.
Video calling is always data usage and can't be made to go into the call logs because the call logs are for voice calls only.
