I stuck with Verizon for many many years. Finally switched to T-mobile in Mid- July. Part of the reason I left was because of the horrendous customer service I had trying to get my deceased stepmother's name off the account and my father's put on. This included hours on the phone. Went to the Verizon after a short wait got it resolved.
My issue is that my final bill has two charges on it which are labelled Payment Buyout Charge totalling $208.30. My contract doesn't say anything about any buyout charges. I paid the past due telephone bill and they want the additional amount.
As you imagine I haven't been able to settle this by phone because they can't find my account and then when I did get connected to a "person" after holding at least 14 minutes disconnected saying they couldn't help me at this time.
Anyone else had this problem?
