I spent hours today trying to call, scheduling call backs, trying the chat bot, calling from my personal phone and my work phone to finally get a hold of someone and speaking them for 1 1 minutes. I'm trying to CANCEL my service. I don't like it. It doesn't work. I've tried multiple locations and not a single speed test has done better than my plugged in wifi (and it's 1/3rd as strong).
He tried to convince me to keep it but by this time after hours of trying to get a hold of someone I just told him to cancel it. He put me on hold multiple times and told me that my account was cancelled. He then told me to just pack up the device and walk to a UPS store on Monday and drop it off. When I asked about a shipping label, he said I did not need one. Ummmm WHAT?
Side note, I told him I would go today and he said: Not today, not tomorrow, go on Monday. Conveniently, my 30 day free trial ends Tuesday.
But that's besides the point. Because the real point is, I got no emails confirming my account was closed, nor any emails giving me a packing slip?
Is this normal? Is my account actually cancelled or am I getting Z*K*A*M*med by Verizon?
